SEO and GEO Expert
Rank client websites on Google and get them cited in AI answers: technical SEO, content, local SEO and structured data.
The role
You will own search visibility for client websites across Google, Bing and AI answer engines such as Google AI Mode, ChatGPT and Perplexity. That covers technical audits, on-page work, local SEO, structured data and content planning, measured on rankings, traffic and leads that come from them.
What you will do
- Run technical SEO audits: crawling, indexing, Core Web Vitals, sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicals
- Plan and brief content around what buyers actually search and ask AI assistants
- Implement schema.org structured data and check it with the Rich Results Test
- Set up and grow Google Business Profiles and local citations for service businesses
- Report from Search Console, GA4 and AI visibility checks every month
What you need
- Practical SEO experience on real websites, with results you can explain
- Working knowledge of Search Console, GA4 and an SEO crawler
- Understanding of how AI search and AI Overviews choose sources (GEO, AEO)
- Good written English
Good to have: Basic HTML and JavaScript, Experience with WordPress, Shopify or Node.js sites, Local SEO for US businesses.
Terms
- Location: Kolkata only. You must live in Kolkata or nearby and be able to reach our Park Street office.
- Work mode: Hybrid: some days from our Park Street office, some days from home, planned week by week with your lead.
- Working days: 6 days a week.
- Education: A completed degree in engineering (B.Tech, B.E., M.Tech) or management (BBA, MBA, PGDM). Final-year students and incomplete courses are not considered.
- Employment: Full time.
